Suzy Dittmar completed her MSc in CBT at Goldsmiths University (London) and her training encompasses cognitive behaviour therapy (CBT),acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) and hypnotherapy. She is member of the BABCP and ACBS and works with clients on a wide range of issues from stress and anxiety disorders to OCD, depression, chronic pain, relationship problems, trauma and addictions.
CBT and ACT help you become more aware of self-sabotaging thoughts and other inner obstacles to a valued life. It’s human to have negative feelings and thoughts, and they needn’t stop you from doing more of the things you really want to be doing. Suzy integrates techniques such as mindfulness, present moment focus, willingness and behavioural activation, part of the “third wave” approach that supercharge traditional cognitive behaviour therapy.
Suzy has worked as a CBT Therapist at an NHS GP surgery and now also works at the Priory Hospital Roehampton and in Central London. She is registered with AXA PPP, Aviva, Pru Health and other insurers (not BUPA).
