Caitlin Perrett

Caitlin Perrett (M. Ost) graduated from the British School of Osteopathy in 2010 with a masters in osteopathy. She is a registered osteopath and has experience of treating a variety of different conditions and thrives on the challenge of a complex presentation. Her love of sport from a young age lead her to be fascinated with the body and how it works. Having experienced the benefits of osteopathy from an injury in her teens she was inspired to study osteopathy as she believes its principle of finding the cause of the problem rather than treating the symptom is the only way to get the best outcome. Her experience has ranged from her treating specialist sport related issues to general practice with experience in all age groups and conditions, from children to the elderly, office workers and ladies with pregnancy related pain.

Caitlin is also a certified matwork Pilates instructor through the APPI. She finds combining Pilates with her osteopathic care helps her to get to the heart of the problem and create effective treatment plans to improve her patients conditions. With this knowledge she also specialises in the rehabilitation of injuries, using a variety of manual techniques including dry needling/medical acupuncture, and is excellent at identifying patterns in injuries which can prevent them from healing. She also has a strong emphasis on the prevention of injuries.

Caitlin takes great care in communicating effectively with patients, providing them with knowledge about their injuries, and creates tailored advice to facilitate recovery and to help them get back to their best.
