Kathryn Dombrowicz
Kathryn is an accredited clinical psychotherapist with over 20 years’ experience in professional practice. Kathryn specialises in treating eating disorders, addiction, compulsive behaviour and traumatic stress. She is also experienced in working with depression, anxiety, low self-esteem and sexual and/or relationship issues.
Her experience has been developed within various settings including NHS, private clinics and in private practice. She has managed specialist inpatient, day care and outpatient services for eating disorders, addiction and sexual health.
Kathryn views everyone’s experience of life and it’s challenges as being intensely unique and personal. Therefore, her focus is always on what each person wishes to achieve from their work together. She recognises that seeking therapy can feel daunting but, in practice, she finds that it tends to consist of curiosity, connection, increased self-knowledge and acceptance, as well as humour.
As an integrative contemporary psychotherapist, Kathryn uses a range of evidenced therapy models in her work depending on the presenting issue and the needs of each client. Her professional training / registrations include:

As well as individual therapy, Kathryn facilitates psychotherapy groups. She also provides psychoeducation and support for families of those who live with eating disorders and/or addiction.
She works with adults and with young adults aged15+
