Lisa Cotter
Lisa is a qualified integrative psychotherapist and counsellor offering a compassionate and confidential space to explore current and past issues which may be impacting your life. She holds a PhD in Psychology and has worked across NHS and private mental health services for many years.
Lisa offers both short-term solution focused counselling and longer-term exploratory psychotherapy, and has experience working in women’s health, youth and adolescent development, cancer support, bereavement, trauma, anxiety, depression and eating disorders.
Lisa’s integrative and relational approach draws primarily from psychodynamic, person-centred and existential approaches, and is informed by the belief that connection and relationship are paramount to psychological wellbeing. With this, Lisa offers a collaborative, non-judgemental and empathic space where you can begin to gain deeper understanding of yourself and the challenges you may be facing.
Lisa is a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (registration number: 402043) and adheres to their code of ethics.
Lisa provides one-to-one therapy for adults of all ages and young people from the age of 16.
