Sam Harvey

After graduating in 2008 from Southampton University, Sam worked as a Chartered Physiotherapist within the NHS completing core rotations in musculoskeletal outpatients, orthopaedics, inpatient and community neurological rehabilitation, respiratory and critical care, ward based inpatient rehabilitation, falls department and the intermediate care team.  His time working with the NHS has afforded valuable experience and exposure to the core areas of physiotherapy whilst working as an integral member of a multi-disciplinary team.  Whilst working with the NHS, and with a view to further develop The MSK skillset, he worked part time in private MSK clinics and also with a semi-professional football club.

In his role as a musculoskeletal Physiotherapist at the White Hart Clinic Sam treats a wide variety of patients in the clinic ranging from office workers with posture related conditions, to weekend warriors and amateur sports men and women with acute sporting injuries, to the professional athlete for whom he provides ongoing recovery sessions and progressions through post-surgery and return to play protocols.  Whilst living in Cork City he worked in private practice where, in addition to treating a wide variety of patients with the use of shockwave therapy when appropriate, he had sole responsibility for running and managing the clinic. He was involved in the treatment of Cork U19 Gaelic Athletic Association football players and during this time worked with the Cork City Football Club Senior and U19 teams.

Sam prides himself on ameliorating each patient’s experience from the moment he or she walks through the door to when they are discharged and consistently look to improve this wherever possible.
