Suzy Dittmar
Suzy Dittmar completed her MSc in CBT at Goldsmiths University (London). Her training encompasses different strands of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT) and EMDR. She is a member of the BABCP and ACBS and works with adult clients on a wide range of issues from stress and anxiety disorders to OCD, trauma, depression, chronic pain and relationship issues (individuals rather than couples).
CBT helps you become more aware of self-sabotaging thoughts and other inner obstacles to a valued life. It’s human to have negative feelings and thoughts, and they needn’t stop you from doing more of the things you really want to be doing. Suzy integrates techniques that are part of the “third wave” approach which supercharge traditional Cognitive Behavioural Therapy.
Suzy has over 13 years of experience as a CBT therapist in a wide range of settings, including at The Priory Hospital Roehampton. She currently also sees private clients in Surbiton (KT6) and in West Molesey (KT8). Suzy is registered with AXA PPP, WPA, Aviva, Cigna, Vitality and other insurers (but does not accept BUPA).
