George came into his career in sports massage after receiving treatment for injuries sustained while competing in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. Witnessing first hand the benefits of manual therapies, massage helped not only to heal his injuries and improve his athletic performance, but also enabled him to relax and unwind. These experiences inspired him to study and pursue a career in sports massage. He qualified at St Marys University Twickenham, as a level 3 and 4 sports massage therapist, and is currently undertaking his level 5.

His background in competitive sport has given him a keen interest in how massage can help with the maintenance and improvement of personal performance, be this mental or physical, and how massage can help in relaxation and recovery including from both a physical endeavour, or from the stresses of day to day life. He works with clients from a variety of backgrounds, including professional athletes and former Olympians, to those  managing the symptoms of underlying health conditions, or simply looking to unwind from the stresses of day to day life. George offers Deep tissue and Sports massage alongside advance techniques including soft tissue release, trigger point therapy and muscle energy techniques. George looks to adapt each treatment he gives to the need of the client in front of him, with the goal of enabling them to be fully functional and pain free.

Appointments with George are available:

  • Thursday: 9am - 2pm
  • Friday: 12pm - 6pm
  • Alternate Saturdays: 9am - 2pm

  • George is not only quite clearly very skilled with his hands and has a deep knowledge of the body, but he was so nice and friendly that his personality has a relaxing effect of its own. He even went beyond the hour to ensure that he got to the root of the problem. Never done a review before, but George is amazing at what he does and genuinely a great guy!

  • Being close to 50 and not having worked out since the early 20s, I got rounded shoulders and chronic upper back pain. I knew getting a sports massage won’t fix it in one go but I must say George knew exactly where my pains were and he worked at it. I have never felt better in years and the happiest thing that I got out of the first session was the mobility that I haven’t had since my 20s. I thought the rounded shoulder and the back pain was something that I had to live with and cope with. He also gave me a stretch to do at home. Unlike many other places that I have been to (Yes I have been to all of the kinds out there), he didn’t overload my brain with a crazy stretching regime but 1 simple stretch that I should do one in the morning and 1 in the evening to loosen up the targeted muscles. Now I will be getting regular treatments so that I can be more mobile and healthy since I have a newborn coming this year. Thank you, George!
