As a specialised Pelvic Health and Rehab practitioner Matilda is able to combine her background in Sport Science with her interests in pelvic health to support women of all age groups to both address their symptoms and get back to the sport or activities they love. Matilda started her career in Physiotherapy within the NHS at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital where she developed experience in ante-natal care, providing exercise guidance and birth preparation plans, whilst addressing common pregnancy related symptoms such as pelvic girdle pain or carpal tunnel syndrome. After completing her Mummy MOT practitioner training, she moved into private practice, enabling her to follow women through their post-natal recovery, completing the '6-week check' to assess and treat for conditions including urinary incontinence, prolapse or diastasis in order to return to high impact sports such as running or crossfit. Her sessions have a multifunctional approach, combining specific pelvic floor treatments and manual therapy, such as massage or acupuncture, alongside motivational goal setting and the development of progressive rehab programmes. From hiking to kitesurfing Matilda appreciates the physical and mental benefits of active hobbies and is dedicated to supporting women to maintain or return to theirs.
