Susanne holds a BSc (Hons) in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) Acupuncture from the University of Westminster (2007). She also completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Gynaecology, Obstetrics, and IVF at the College of Integrated Chinese Medicine, gaining in-depth expertise in all aspects of women’s health.
For ten years, Susanne was the resident fertility acupuncturist at the Zita West Clinic – a pioneering, holistically oriented IVF clinic. As part of a multidisciplinary team including IVF consultants, nurses, midwives, nutritionists, and hypnotherapists, she provided comprehensive support to women and men undergoing fertility treatment.
Throughout her career, Susanne has worked in a variety of clinical settings, including an NHS multi-bed clinic and several multi-therapy practices, broadening her therapeutic experience.
She specialises in treating a wide range of conditions, including all aspects of women’s health, fertility, IVF support, pregnancy, perimenopausal symptoms, musculoskeletal issues, chronic pain, migraines, stress-related ailments, as well as digestive and respiratory disorders. She treats both adults and children.
Additionally, Susanne is a qualified Health and Wellbeing Coach, believing that optimal physical and mental health can be achieved through balanced nutrition, exercise, and lifestyle—principles deeply rooted in Traditional Chinese Medicine. She integrates various techniques such as electro-acupuncture, moxibustion, and TDP heat therapy to enhance therapeutic outcomes. Dedicated to continuous professional development, she regularly updates her practice with the latest research and clinical advancements.
Beyond her clinical work, Susanne contributed German translations for the digital application of A Manual of Acupuncture and provided the German voice-over for the app.
She is a member of the British Acupuncture Council (BAcC), the UK’s largest regulatory body for traditional acupuncture practitioners. As part of the Professional Standards Authority (PSA) accredited register, the BAcC upholds high standards of training, safety, and professional conduct. Susanne carries full professional liability insurance.
