Michaela is an experienced physiotherapist with a strong passion for supporting people through pregnancy and post-partum recovery. Graduating in 2019 from King’s College London, she has worked in the NHS at Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospital. She has rotated through various specialties with a particular interest in musculoskeletal conditions, oncology rehabilitation and has now specialised in the field of pelvic health. She continues to work in an NHS team, regularly reviewing and treating people with a range of pregnancy and post-natal pains, alongside uro-gynaecological symptoms in the ante-natal and perimenopausal period. Michaela offers an array of holistic treatment approaches including acupuncture, clinical pilates and sports massage, and ensures that each client receives tailored treatment suited to their goals and lifestyle. She endeavors to utilise her skills and knowledge to educate and support individuals to independently manage their symptoms with a focus on proactiveness and prevention. Her main clientele includes women experiencing ante-natal musculoskeletal pain, urinary symptoms, pelvic organ prolapse or persistent pelvic pain, however she also treats pre and post-operative rehab, sports injuries and chronic pain. Outside of work, Michaela is a keen golfer, skier, runner and cyclist; activities that keep her connected to the importance of movement, recovery and performance.
