Physiotherapy

Physiotherapy is a treatment that can help every member of the family improve their movement in order to promote health and well-being.

Through careful consideration of your medical history and a thorough assessment of the problem area, we aim to alleviate discomfort restoring regular movement to joints, muscles and nerves that are not functioning correctly. It is of great importance to us to devise a personalised treatment plan dedicated to meeting each patient’s specific needs.

We will take into consideration any physical and psychological factors that may influence a patient’s treatment, and through working closely with our various teams we will ensure you receive the best treatment for you.

If it is difficult for you to come to us, we can come to you! We are happy to arrange a home visit if pain or mobility do not allow you to come to us.

If you are new to physio and you are not sure it will help you, we now offer a 'Fast Track Physio Assesment' for £20. Our physio musculo-skeletal specialist Jacqui Perry will be happy to answer any queries and concerns you have before you decide to start any treatment.

If you want to find out more about the profession, the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy is a good starting point.

Physio First, an organization representing physiotherapists in private practices, also provides information about the way physiotherapists work and the range of techniques they use.

All of our therapists are registerested with the Health & Care Professions Council

The clinic has contracts for physiotherapy treatments with BUPA and AXA PPP and will claim on your behalf once you let us have your membership and authorisation numbers, which are needed prior to treatment. Our clinic provider numbers are 80009448 (BUPA) and ZZ01839 (AXA PPP) and all of our physiotherapists are automatically covered under our contract number. Whilst we are recognised by all other major insurance companies, you will be expected to pay at the time of treatment and we shall issue receipts in order for you to claim.
