Physiotherapy
Physiotherapy is a treatment aimed at improving your movement in order to promote health and well-being.
Through careful consideration of your medical history and a thorough assessment of the problem area, our experienced physiotherapists aim to alleviate discomfort through manual therapy and soft tissue techniques to restore regular movement to muscles and joints that are not functioning correctly. Pain is often the thing that motivates people to seek our help, but it can be due to other things like mobility and movement confidence, sports-related injuries, headaches or neck pain, and rehab or support with recovery from surgery or systemic illness.
Common conditions we treat include:
- Back pain
- Postural pain
- Achilles injuries & Shockwave Therapy
- Arthritis
- Hip pain
- Frozen shoulder
- Rotator cuff injury
- Shoulder pain
- Knee surgery recovery
- MCL / ACL strains
- Hip replacement surgery recovery
- Repetitive strain injury
- Tennis Elbow
- Ankle sprains
- Headaches
- Running biomechanics
It is of great importance to us to devise a personalised treatment plan dedicated to meeting each patient’s specific needs.
We will take into consideration any physical and psychological factors that may influence a patient’s treatment, and through working closely with our various teams we will ensure you receive the best treatment for you.
If it is difficult for you to come to us, we can come to you! We are happy to arrange a home visit if pain or mobility do not allow you to come to us. We are also offering an online Physiotherapy service, for those patients who prefer a virtual approach first. For more information, follow the details on our video consultation page.
If you want to find out more about the profession, the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy is a good starting point.
All of our therapists are registerested with the Health & Care Professions Council.
The clinic has contracts for physiotherapy treatments with BUPA and AXA Health and will claim on your behalf once you let us have your membership and authorisation numbers, which are needed prior to treatment. Our clinic provider numbers are 80009448 (BUPA) and ZZ01839 (AXA Health) and all of our physiotherapists are automatically covered under our contract number. Whilst we are recognised by all other major insurance companies, you will be expected to pay at the time of treatment and we shall issue receipts in order for you to claim.
