Vicki Snow
Vicki is a qualified Psychotherapeutic Counsellor offering a non-judgemental and confidential space in which to share difficult issues and feelings that may be impacting you. She has experience working with young people in a university environment as well as adults in a private counselling service and has worked with a range of difficulties including anxiety, depression, addiction, bereavement and low self-esteem.
Vicki works with a relational approach, informed by the belief that as humans, we are naturally drawn to being in relationship with one another. It is through our childhood experiences that we learn to relate to ourselves and others. Her integrative approach is informed by theories from a range of different psychotherapeutic models including Psychodynamic therapy, Internal Family Systems, Mindfulness and person-centred therapy.
Her style is warm, respectful and supportive, with an emphasis on working collaboratively to create achievable goals. By talking about feelings that can be hard to face or understand, you can begin to gain more self-awareness and a deeper understanding about yourself and your relationships.
Vicki is a registered member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and is bound by their rules and ethical codes.
