Protect Your Joints, Keep Your Life
Expert Arthritis Treatment At The White Hart Clinic
There are two main forms of arthritis – osteo-arthritis and rheumatoid arthritis.
Rheumatoid arthritis is an autoimmune condition where the body’s own immune system attacks the lining of its joints.
In individuals with osteo-arthritis, the cartilage within joints thins, usually due to wear and tear over time. This can commonly affect the hips, knees and spine (as well as other joints) and is something we often help with at The White Hart Clinic.
While not a cure, physiotherapy/osteopathy can help strengthen and offload affected joints while also reducing symptoms, such as pain or stiffness.
