Frequently Asked Questions

We understand that reaching out for support can sometimes feel like a big step.

That’s why at the White Hart Clinic, our goal is to make your first step as seamless as possible. From the moment you walk through our doors, you’ll find a supportive environment dedicated to understanding your unique story. Your first visit isn’t just about a diagnosis; it’s about building a personalised roadmap to get you back to doing what you love.

No referral is needed – you’re welcome to book any of our services directly.

Please note: this excludes pessary fittings

We start by taking the time to understand you – your symptoms, medical history, lifestyle and goals. From there, we carry out a thorough assessment and explain our findings clearly. Where appropriate, treatment will begin in your first session, and we’ll outline a personalised plan to support your recovery.

The clinic has a contract with AXA and Bupa for Musculoskeletal and Pelvic Health Physiotherapy (Women & Men), allowing us to bill them directly. If you are seeing one of our physiotherapists on AXA or Bupa, you will be required to provide your authorisation code and membership number before or on the day of your appointment. If this information is not provided ahead of the appointment, you will be required to self-fund.

Many of our clinicians are also registered with other insurance companies, such as WPA, Cigna, Vitality and Allianz. On each clinician’s profile you can see which insurance companies they are registered with.

For insurers other than AXA and Bupa, appointments are charged at the self pay rate, and you may be able to claim reimbursement directly from your provider.

For podiatry appointments: Michael is registered with Bupa and will be able to claim on your behalf.

For osteopathy appointments: Christian is registered with Bupa and will be able to claim on your behalf.

Yes – we understand that plans can change. We kindly ask for at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule, so we can offer the appointment to someone else who may need it. Appointments changed or cancelled within 24 hours will incur the full appointment fee.

Yes – there is free parking on the surrounding roads before 9am and after 11am Monday to Friday, and free all day on weekends.

That’s absolutely fine – our team is always happy to help. You can call us on 020 8876 9897 or email us on info@whitehartclinic.co.uk and we’ll guide you to the most appropriate clinician or service for your needs.
